I don’t want to buy a fancy computer for trading. Why don’t more people just use their phone? Seems like it should be fine, they are super fast these days, and there are apps like tradovate and webull and robinhood. Tradovate looks really pro. Tell me straight. Can’t I just use my phone?

I think I pretty much answered this in your other post but in case anyone else sees this later…
Phone trading is possible but has a lot of potential problems - not the least of which is trading over wifi. The only serious professional-grade mobile trading app that I’m aware of is by Trading Technologies.. Very expensive and mostly aimed at institutions, prop firms, that sort of level.

I thought I had to use my phone since my PC is a few years old but now I think it will be OK. Maybe I will upgrade the hard drive to something faster.
